I love Spinning because it gets my heart rate up high, and I love sprints because you get a great cardio workout in a short period time.
If you’re looking for an unusual, but challenging workout, try Zumba. It’s a workout that feels like a dance party. The Latin beat (you’ll also find hip hop and country) and hip gyrations will raise your exertion levels and bring a smile to your face. I took the class for the first time in Vegas and laughed at how ridiculous I looked in the mirror. Then, I stopped looking and just flowed with the music. After the hour class I was drenched in sweat and had a happy piece of mind. It was fun! Make sure to warm up before class and then do a bit of stretching to make sure you’re ready for the experience. Also keep your abs engaged to protect your back.
